Voices from the deep: 国家青年日

yup, FINALLY MMU drum class was invited to a big performance of this 24 festive drum for Malaysia's 国家青年日, National Youth Day!!! This is certainly the biggest event that our MMU drum class have performed before since years ago. i don't know if u guys know anything about this malaysia youth day or not. From what i have seen from that day in Putrajaya, it was indeed a super duper big event that blast out the whole Putrajaya and turn this "quiet" city to a city full of the shouts of YOUTH!!! ok, back to our main point.. With the cooperation between this National Youth day event and Arts Life, they decided to break the Malaysia Books of Record to have the largest number of drummer come together and play the drum together!!!

nah, i din lie ^_^

Since now is the holiday for MMU student, all of us have to PURPOSELY come back to melaka and start our practice before this performance start!

Part 1: The day before our performance - we practice from morning till around 10pm at night!!!

This thing suddenly come out in front of the table.. and i add an eye on it... haha.. it looks cute.. and ... hahaha~

Part 2: Morning in MMU

The bright sunny morning in MMU. We gather at Main Hall upstairs.

preparing to bring the drums up to the bus and off we go to Putrajaya!!!!

Part 3: reach Putrajaya

It's a BMW police motorcycle!!! 看来马来西亚进步了hor?

Then, another thing caught my eye:

I thought i only see horses in western country, i didn't expect one in Malaysia.

Don't you know Malaysia is talking about environmental friendly???

I even heard about ppl saying malaysia's police motorcycle will change to horses one day as a sign of loving GREEN!!!

after this, because most of the roads are block because of this big event, therefore, we are lost of hours in this city!!! We manage to find our way to the location after a few hours!!!

Part 4: Rehearsal

i didn't get a good view of the rehearsal~ yea, i know u cannot imagine how many ppl are together with us~ I'll tell you afterwards =)
